After law school (Santa Clara University, cum laude), he worked as a patent attorney for the Silicon Valley-based law firm of Fenwick & West. Mr. Cary returned to Colorado and followed the legal chain of title from U S WEST, to MediaOne, to AT&T Broadband, now Comcast! After a short stint at a “.bomb” company, Mr. Cary returned to the cable industry at CableLabs. His main focus is with the CableLabs OpenCable™ Project (a.k.a. tru2way) for the development of advanced digital cable video devices (including PCs, Digital Televisions, and set-top boxes), content protection and content distribution technologies, and the laws and regulations governing cable operators in these areas. He also provides general advice on cable industry technology strategy, IPR licensing, standards setting, antitrust, and defensive patent infringement coordination.

Paul Greenberg joined Gemstar-TV Guide in March 2006 as general manager, TVGuide Online. During his time in this role, the company made several important acquisitions, product upgrades and showed steady growth across its collection of Web sites. Mr. Greenberg was also instrumental in the redesign of TVGuide.com in September 2006 that introduced several new key features to the site, including an improved broadband player, entertainment search, and extensive community functionalities such as blogs, discussion groups and forums. Sheau has been with the digital revolution from the start, contributing to MPEG, ATSC, DVD, and various technical standards activities. His career spans from compression research to product development in consumer electronics, semiconductors, and content/media industries. He was an contributing member of the Grand Alliance team, working at Sarnoff in late 80s. In early 90s, Sheau was part of Toshiba's DVD team, where he helped build the world's first DVD encoder. While at Toshiba, he also chaired the DAVIC 1.0 Technical Committee. Later, he was the architect of Philips first consumer HDTV on the ATSC market. At Philips, and later on at ATI, he was responsible for the software architecture of their DTV system-on-chip solutions. Sheau is now a vice president at NBC Universal, with responsibility in the areas of consumer and broadcast technology, standards, and policy. He chairs the Content Protection Task Group in the High-Definition Audio-Video Network Alliance (HANA). He is an active member at the CEA IPTV OCC, and many other industry groups. He is focusing his attention on making digital entertainment a worldwide reality. Sheau holds graduate degrees from M.I.T., and had done post-graduate work at Princeton University. He also attended the executive MBA program at INSEAD. He currently holds over 30 patents worldwide. He lives in Boston with his wife and two children.

Paul was the founder and CEO at Imedia Corporation, a leader in digital video communication, and developer of the first statistical re-multiplexer, CherryPicker, which played a central role in digital television distribution in cable and satellite TV services. Imedia Corp. was acquired by Terayon in 1999. Previously, Paul defined the hardware architecture for General Instrument's first all-digital television system and the first digital high definition television (HDTV) system. He served as a General Instrument representative to the MPEG Committee, where he chaired the MPEG4 Syntax Group and led the effort to define a new object-oriented descriptive language. Prior to joining Technicolor, Ware was the co-founder and CEO of SyncCast, a leading digital media fulfillment company specializing in encoding and transcoding, digital rights management, delivery and distribution, as well as content management services. The technologies and services developed under Ware’s tutelage power solutions for such distinguished companies as Microsoft, Billboard, Warner Music Group, The Motion Picture Association of America, Lionsgate Entertainment, NBC Universal, EMI Music Group, DirecTV and many others. Weinraub has over 19 years of experience designing facilities, systems and processes for the purpose of managing technology.
